Systematic Patient Engagement in Pharma

For 13 years, Nadine van Dongen is working on ways to give patients a voice in healthcare. She founded the first international ‘patient intelligence panel’ named PIPHealth (www.piphealth.com) after a life-changing car crash.
PIPHealth – Patient Intelligence Panel
The panel now has approximately 25.000 members who are diagnosed with a health condition and are willing to engage in research projects to improve care.
PIPHealth has worked on more than 180 research projects for over 35 pharma/healthcare organisations. Patterns and steps were revealed in all these projects that lead to the design and implementation of a new software portal, the Patient Intelligence Portal. This portal guides managers in pharma to follow the same steps each time a patient project is requested or proposed. This allows for streamlined, compliant and exciting patient projects that can be followed up by better care solutions.
